RuZZia's economy is stuck in the "war" mode, unemployment is at 2%, inflation is skyrocketing, the ruble just passed 100 per dollar, and RuZZia is burning through troops.

Trump's energy policy sure won't give him any relief.

If Trump were smart, he'd completely backstab PooTin and threaten to escalate the war even further unless PooTin accepted a ceasefire on his terms.

NATO and Biden are already doing that with their authorizations of various long range missiles. Makes me wonder if Biden and Trump discussed this in their meeting and Trump said - sure escalate - since it happened right after they met as opposed to the last two + years.

Might explain why Putin was not so happy after his congratulations phone call either.

But that depends on Trump having the negotiation instincts to do just that. And I haven't seen him ever demonstrate any.

You must be kidding - you simply aren't paying attention - too caught up in the price of eggs and inflation. Have you heard of the Abraham accords? The USMCA?

I see Trump just selected Lt. General Keith Kellogg for Ukraine envoy.

Kellogg's plan for ending the war, which began when Russia invaded Ukrainian sovereign territory, involves freezing the battle lines at their prevailing locations and forcing both Kyiv and Moscow to the negotiating table, Reuters reported in June.

There is currently no special envoy for the conflict, but Trump is likely to create the position, said all the sources, who requested anonymity to discuss private deliberations.
