Slash burning, a practice used in forestry to clear land of logging debris, was prevalent in British Columbia, Canada, throughout much of the 20th century. It was particularly prominent from the late 19th century into the mid-20th century, with a notable peak in activity around the 1960s and 1970s. During this time, it was considered a necessary method to manage forest regeneration and reduce fire hazards. However, the associated smoke and environmental concerns led to increased regulation and a decline in its use in subsequent decades and Vancouver Island which is near an island between Seattle and Tacoma on Puget Sound

Got my Solar Project up and running.

Only getting Winter Sunshine, and the project is in a shady place. However, that was all calculated in.

Really pleased with the result.

Good quality Solar Panels are in plentiful and economical supply at the moment. Will be buying more.

Questions for Eric....

Since you admitted to me that you visit your Island home by using 'lots of diesel', then sold the boat so now you crate your Tesla over there on a diesel belching ferry(when you're not hitchhiking on your friend's gas guzzling Cessna)...would yo care to update for us your carbon footprint?

Best i can tell is this:

You have PV to help when you're home but you spend a lot of time away from home abusing fossil fuels. Hat tip: flying small planes is the ultimate abuse of fossil fuels.
