If I may respond to another insomniac...

I've been in Compaq for about 4 years. It will sit in one place for quite awhile, and then it will move steadily upward. It generally won't move in bursts like Dell (up 9 or 10 in a day). I don't really see where the stock is as a problem. A few weeks ago, most felt that it would stay around 30 until the merger happened. It then rose 6 in a few days. I think it will start moving up again and then it will consolidate for awhile again. I think its a great long term hold. As a trading stock, I think it can try your patience...
