Gilbert,

I hope that you change your mind and continue to provide your useful and interesting reports on insider trading, especially regarding Quebec based companies. Quebec firms, especially smaller cap ones, get too little exposure in English Canada.

I understand your feeling that you are not getting enough in return, although Scott makes some good points (that discussion on SI can stimulate trading and increase prices to the benefit of all investors in that company). Also, I suspect that you enjoy, as ends in themselves, helping other small investors and exchanging ideas with them. And there is a chance that someone reading this list will share with us some new information regarding one of the companies you follow.

I do think there is some truth to the earlier posters view that insider trading information is not timely and thus of less value than it could be, but that doesn't prevent it from being a very useful tool in identifying undervalued situations. A case in point--I believe you've mentioned Global Stone trading here within the past few months. Yesterday, there was a takeover offer and the shares are way up today.

So, in case you change your mind, I'd be interested in any insider trading reports in these two Quebec companies: Matco (MCO.B) and Cantrex (CXN).

There is a little-used Cantrex forum at:

Hi Gilbert, could you do me a favour and see if there have been any insider transactions on RCP - Raptor Capital traded on ASE. It is sure nice to know if insiders are buying the stock at market prices rather than the 90% options discount. I would gladly pay for that information. Thanks in advance.
