Terry,

Namxplc@aol.com

Didn't bounce back last time I tried.

So sending questions may be possible,
but getting answers may be impossible!

Good luck!

I am not aware of an e-mail address, but there is a fax number and a 1-800 number for the company which is included at the end of their news releases. Unfortunately I have that info at the office, along with some notes I jotted down following a lengthy telephone converation I had yesterday with Paul Ebeling. I, too, had quite a number of questions I wished to ask following the history of disquieting posts by various people on this thread. I faxed a letter to the company and Mr. Ebeling was not only gracious enough to call me back, but he was also quite willing to address the questions I put to him, and to take all the time that was necessary to do so.
I am a refugee from the Zitel thread, and I recognize a number of familiar names here, who were no doubt inroduced to this company as I was, in its former incarnation as International Marketing Management, by Mad Monk, who posted frequently on that thread, and who started the IMMM thread. I became involved in that company
when its share price was around 35 cents. What caught my attention was the story about how this reputable scientist developed an amazing tool which was capable of imaging successive layers of the earth's crust hundreds or thousands of meters beneath the surface, and to provide significant data which would help to pinpoint with incredible accuracy the presence, or just as important-the absence, of hydrocarbons,or other valuable substances. What went further, and cemented my interest, was the material contained on the IMMM website. This featured riveting examples of the images produced by the EM Sounder process, along with data chronicling numerous successful applications of the process, which was capable of mapping
huge tracts of land in a relatively short span of time, as the equipment which gathered the data was mounted on an airplane, or helicopter.
Upon reflection, there is a remarkable parallel between the Zitel story and the NAMX story. Both involve a distinguished scientist who is reputed to have invented an amazing process which could be worth untold millions, and even billions of dollars, in the world of commerce. In the case of Zitel the scientist is Dr. Franklin Chiang, who was rumoured to have invented the closest thing to a silver bullet for remedying the Y2K millenium bug for MatriDigm Corp., which was 1/3 owned by Zitel. In the case of NAMX the scientist is Dr. Michael Stamm who, it is claimed, has invented the closest thing to a silver bullet for discovering deposits of valuable hydrocarbons, minerals, and other gases. In the case of Zitel, as more and more time passed without significant proof that the MAP2000 process worked in the real world, the way it was touted to work in theory, and because time was of the essence with the year 2000 rapidly approaching, the viewpoint of the sceptics seems to have prevailed, and the stock price has suffered accordingly. However, there was a time, in the early stages, when the promise of the Matridigm tool sent the price of Zitel's stock skyrocketing, and fortunes were made.
It appears that there is a very clear and critical distinction between the two tools--Dr. Stamm's seems to work in the real world the way it is supposed to, whereas Dr. Chiang's seems not to, perhaps because of the existence of all kinds of "dirty" code. This is simply my personal opinion, as a non-expert in any of these fields, from the information I have digested to date.
This brings me back to my conversation yesterday with Mr. Ebeling. He explained to me some of the history of the company, which resulted in his involvement, and the change from IMMM to NAMX, along with certain necessary changes in personnel. He assured me that the data on the IMMM website was completely true and accurate.
Otherwise he had little good to say about the people who were running the company at that time, apart, of course, from Dr. Stamm, who was being guided by certain others with whom he had become involved (no names mentioned-and none requested), and from whom he has extricated himself. Some of the things he told me about Dr. Stamm and the company are well known to anyone who has been following the company so I won't bother to repeat them, except to say that he confirmed the story as to how Dr. Stamm came to develop the EM Sounder process, and how he ended up with ownership of the patent rights. As well he related certain information about Dr. Stamm's
credentials and contacts in the upper echelons of government and industry, which are truly impressive.
I do not propose to repeat chapter and verse of what Paul Ebeling told me about NAMX's current state of affairs as he responded to me, personally, and I would not feel comfortable in doing so without his express permission, which I have not sought. However, I do feel comfortable in relating the gist of what he told me, which was very positive.
Firstly re KNE: all of the wells drilled to date have yeilded positive results. The Gruy and Geophysik estimates as to reserves, which are very close to one another, deal with only part of the two formations which have been drilled to date. It is intended to drill 54 gas wells in total, with further drilling commencing shortly. KNE is expending significant funds on the pipeline in the area. There was a problem with some of the well pressure which requires greater capacity pipe. The larger of the fields may be capable of supplying gas for 40 years, and the smaller for 10 years, which potentially represents very significant ongoing cash flow to the company.
Secondly re UPR: there is definitely an ongoing working relationship
involving certain projects respecting which it is not appropriate to comment at this time, but successful work has been done for UPR to date, and good news is expected from this source when there has been sufficient opportunity for more of the work to be successfully completed.
Thirdly: discussions are underway with a number of major companies
in the U.S., and with major companies and governments abroad.
Before yesterday's telephone discussion with Mr. Ebeling,
I wish to confirm that I have never previously met or spoken to him, or anyone else even remotely associated with NAMX, nor have I previously posted on this thread, although I have followed it with interest; along with occasional annoyance at the partisan antics of some of the posters who seem obsessed at furthering their own personal agendas, with little apparent regard for the truth. I am not in a position to vouch for anything that Mr. Ebeling told me, except to say that he impressed me as being truthful, and he was commenting about things that are all matters of record. The problem, of course, is that it is very difficult for Joe Average Investor to get access to these records in a timely way, especially for a non-reporting company. If lying is involved, by the time Joe and myself find out, it is too late, as the damage has already been done.Incidentally, Mr. Ebeling confirmed that steps are underway to make this a reporting company, in the time frame already discussed, although like anything else it could take longer--and that Deloitte Touche is involved.
DISCLAIMER: I have contacted the company and submitted this post
because of the various concerns which have been raised regarding the veracity of the company. As a shareholder, I am obviously hopeful that the positive information that is circulating about the company is true, because if so fortunes can be made here, just as with Zitel, even though the window of opportunity for the latter has proved somewhat brief to date. Having said that I repeat that I am not personally in a position to vouch for anything I have been told, or otherwise stated here. I would urge everyone to do their own due diligence, but am most appreciative of those who share the fruits if their labours with the rest of us Joes, in an objective way, regardless of whether what is uncovered is positive or negative, as both are equally important.
