I agree, but people did have eight years of watching that guy! And we know the informed did better than the uninformed e.g. the blue coasts versus the red south and rural areas. As you point out, the right wing propaganda machine in this country funded by the oligarchs is a real problem, and one best met with an educated populace. And now we have another four years where Trump will make public education even more expensive and harder to get! Such a tragedy for this country.
