There are all different types of Christians and there are all different types of Jews, reformed conservative, modern Orthodox, Orthodox and extreme Orthodox. There are Sephardic Jews and Ashkenazit Jews. Israeli Jews and American Jews have always been two different cultures, one identifies primarily as American, the other as Jewish. I am a combination or mixture of both. I understand both points of view.

Most Jews in USA are secular. They observe the high holy days out of tradition, not out of faith. I am the exact opposite in that regard.
