Dear Claude Comier,

This has to do with the format of the images you are trying to paste. Please see previous discussions on the matter. Many images can still be pasted directly, just not images that are presented as base64 strings in the underlying html.

I have come across a lot of messages with graphics showing a broken-pic icon instead of the pic. The explanation I read is that pics that are pasted from clipboard can disappear over time whereas if they're uploaded they remain. Do you or someone know if this is correct?
