1. Highlight the URL, www.gold-eagle.com/gold_digest/butler816.html, or any other URL (even those with the "http:" in front of the "www") by placing cursor at the end of the "l" of "html" (make sure you don't accidentally include any punctuation mark after the "l"), left-click mouse and while keeping mouse clicked, drag the cursor carefully to the left to the first "w" of "www". Or you may start from the first "w" to the "l" (no full stop after the "l"). 2. Press "Ctrl" key down and while holding it down, press the "C" key once, (OR click "Edit" near top left-hand corner of screen and then click "Copy" in the drop-down menu that appears); 3. Place cursor in Location Window (the narrow, long horizontal one near the top of the screen) and left-click once. The window should go blue. (If it does not, then highlight it as in #1 above). 4. Press "Delete" key. The window goes clear. 5. Then place cursor in the (now clear) location window, click once. Then press "Ctrl" key and while holding it down, press the "V" key, (OR click "Edit" again and, in the drop-down menu, click "Paste"). And voila! That's it! And when you hit "Enter", you should get what you want unless, of course, the URL is outdated etc, or there is still some 'bug' in the URL. In summary, 1. highlight the URL, 2. do (Ctrl + C) or (click "Edit" and click "Copy"), 3. highlight the location window and press "Delete", 4. place cursor in location window, click once. 5. Do (Ctrl + V) or (click "Edit" and click "Paste") 6. Hit Enter (Even if the URL you have put into the location window has no "http:" to begin with, it will automatically appear.
