Trump will do the same to us if we let him. Oh koany, what would SI do without you? :-) BTW, who exactly is the "We" that you're referring to? We need to call upon our democracy to mitigate this disaster. "We", the American citizens, just exercised our Constitutional right as a democratic republic to elect not only Trump, but a GOP Congress to assist him in implementing his agenda. You no like it? Tough titty.. So how would you go about "mitigating" the expressed will of the people, anyway? Do you think that old hag, Pelosi, could drum up another impeachment farce? You seem to be suffering from a larger case of PMS than usual. Suggest drugs to "mitigate" the effects.. :-)
