It is also evident from your discussions with JTO that they really do have a problem with accurate communications. Now telling you that they really have 19 halls under investigation but didn't know how to position it to avoid increasing expectations , so they used a range from 10 to 15 ??? . The statement should have been " we have 19 halls under examination, however typically only half of them pan out so we expect 9-10 which added to the others will get us to about 30 by mid year." Then your staight up with everybody.

For what it is worth, he did indicate that corporate communication is a learning process and that next time he would be addressing it exactly as you stated. I think, my conjecture only, is that he did not address in the way you suggested is that he did not want to get into a discussion of due diligence and why or why not a deal would be closed or not closed. Of course it could also have been that we sometimes take the top end and then extrapolate from it, "well if they close all 19 halls, then income will be....." He did not want that to happen again. If I am correct I can understand his choice of wording, however, I don't disagree with you at all. I wish, and JTO does as well, that he would have stated it straight up "19 with possiblity of 10 of those closing" the first time.

Oh well...live and learn. We all are....
