Eric,
I believe you must rid Gaza of terrorists and then annex the place.
I once believed in that, in a sense:

*******
Message 34459044

If that means destroying Gaza because it became a virtual Hamas fortress, so be it.
Once it's gone, build a new city on top of the ruins of Gaza, call it Twitter, and let the former residents of Gaza settle there.

Why Twitter? Because X was taken ...

*******

Unfortunately it's been over a year since I posted that, and the war in Gaza still rages.

Net-N-Yahoo seems more intent on starving out the citizens there than actually finishing the war.

Trump loves to talk about the evils of "endless wars," but it seems to me that the war in Gaza is becoming a real quagmire.

Either way, the residents of Gaza aren't going anywhere. Even if you annex Gaza and rename it Twitter, the people are going to remain there, and they will always remain a thorn in the side of Israel.

And they'll never give up on the idea of resurrecting "historic Palestine."
