Arnie: Nextel borrowed 2 bil, then took half and spent it on a unrelated venture.

I think I would have been happier if the money was in the bank, being reserved for completion of the existing US business plan. It doesn't look like that is the case, so now I'm even more angry. Does it show?

I guess I'm a hypocrite also, because, I still will buy back in, when there is definite movement. I still believe in the concept and the US business plan. I just can't seem to make sense of the McCaw concept, expand to foreign countries before the US is completed, buy unrelated entities with borrowed money, buy a house in Seattle area, when the main office is VA. I guess he just uses direct connect to tell the others what his next stupid idea is, probably float another junk bond issue to put Nextel in Iraq. All the while, you and the other loyal subjects just wait for the promises to come into fruition. Guess I'm bad, just half loyal and not very trusting at this stage of the game, but still think the network is great, just finish it first and turn a profit, then big money investors will flock to the event.

Anyhow, rain is iminent, I suspect lake Doolittle will soon be at the flood stage.<VBG> Now, if your motorhome was as big as mine, you would have room for an inflatable boat and motor that you could use on Lake Doolittle. I bought one, but didn't have to use it at home, put drains in instead.<VBG> Now, the house is high and dry, it's just the bovine excrement that I am drowning in, and I suspect it may be my own, better shut up while I'm just a little behind.<VBG>

PS. thanks for the respect in your reply, sometimes I just don't know if I deserve it.<VBG> I laugh at myself, too bad the SI thread is not audio/video, and I may be the only one entertained.

Regards again from
Al G., just entertaining myself, as normal.
