Larry, I believe the "problems with scale up" were primarily with reference to making large quantities of laminate with the larger coater/laminater machines, one of which was diverted to Henderson.

I have understood for a long time that the small machine in Henderson produces good quality laminate. "Scaling up" would therefore include getting the large machine fine tuned in Henderson, which I heard is going well, and then duplicating the adjustments on the others in NI.

FWIW- in my previous post I commented on how stating information and details generates more questions. As you can tell, this company has become a favorite subject, but posting on the internet may have delayed my progress with less-enjoyable projects.

I therefore understand and am not disappointed with the company's policy of concentrating on "getting the product out the door"!

Regards, FMK

One more thought - Too much detail stated publicly or posted on the internet about how the company has solved certain problems could be quite helpful to a competitor playing "catch up". Staying ahead helps guarantee higher profit margins when Valence is alone with the capability of high-speed automated production.

I hope I have not jeopardized future profit margins by repeating information that was not officially released because I am in for the long term.

Incidentally, I just spoke with one of the "veterans" who told me that Valence has more upside potential than any other they had encountered in their careers. I asked if he still felt that way. The answer was affirmative. He mentioned a couple other stocks, but VLNC was still first on his list with an expectation of "at least tenfold".
