I bet that Montello can 'call' Redwoods option. This would mean that Montello could say to Redwood 'Exercise your options now or we cancel the deal' Redwood is not financially strong enough to take that big a risk and would decline. De Beers however could easily take that risk. The deal with Redwood allows Redwood to be cautions with their $5 million but Montello would have been idiots not to have the 'Call' ability on the deal.
I have just spent the last 2 hours looking at the area in 3D. You can see the areas where Ashtons pipes are (you have to compare to the map on Newclaymores web site). You can see the terrain changes in the area and what areas to avoid. If you want to take a look -go to Chapters and buy the 'Axion 3D World Atlas' program. (http://www.axionspatial.com/). Its only 40 bucks - but it gives you a real insight into the area terrain and who has has good potential properties. Jesse posted that Apex article that talks about geographic lows and highs - you can see these in the Atlas. Unfortunately the Atlas is the whole world -otherwise you could see to phenominal resolution. JP
