Trump’s tariffs won’t screw us over. They didn’t four years ago. They were targeted, and used as leverage, something Tench just ignores.

How are Trump's tariffs going to screw you over. You using foreign components?
Do you realize that the supply chain for computer chips is incredibly complex and crosses MANY international borders?

Large companies like nVidia, Apple, and AMD can survive the tariffs, but hardware startups like mine are going to get screwed over.

My greatest fear isn't that tariffs will cause inflation (it will, but we can survive that), but that tariffs trigger a recession and causes the AI craze to halt in its tracks. That in turn will dry up funding for startups, just like funding dried up in 2022 during the tech recession.
