i expect he is losing his power. where ever his power was coming from has to be leaving him, as a short timer. I expect loyalty is moving to his replacement and his wants. It reminds me of a general manager who was in control for years and all the sales people worshiped him. He retires and makes the mistake of coming back to the annual kick off convention. I run into him out in the lobby sitting on a chair by himself. Yup, no sales people around him and he looked so depressed. He should have walk away , its over, find something new.
