My question to you -- can you learn it the good old fashion academic way, or by hands-on practices. (small transactions of course.) Jan, There are some excellent sites on the web to help the learning with options. I suppose you could call that the old fashion way. The hands on small positions are still necessary. There is always some little missed strategy that ones learns when they lose money. I know from last year:-( Writing naked puts against COMS and ASND was a bit damaging last year to say the least. If you want some option strategy site URLs, let me know. Glenn
