Trump's plan of using tariffs to fund the government instead of a income taxes would pit us against the world, in a dog eat dog fight, which I am sure is exactly how he got rich, lying and cheating and bullying. He loves using the power of the US to bully the world, including our allies. Trumps thinking is primitive and based on the law of the jungle of dog eat dog, but "cooperation" is the law of civilization as seen in modern democracies, and organizations like the EU and NATO. In this dangerous modern world of nuclear weapons, AI and propaganda,, and pandemics, cooperation is more important than ever. We need our allies to keep us safe, and to work toward world cooperation! But what the MAGA folks don't understand is that Trump is leading us right back into the jungle, leaving a trail of new enemies, dead and wounded along the way, and worse is siding with the bad guys like Putin, Kim Jung Un, Orban and Erdogan! He is not even in office yet and he is already pitting us against our allies.
