We enjoyed "Borderline" a lot. To my semi-trained ear, they did have the accents pretty close.

I'd never heard that take on Sherlock, so its absence won't get in the way of me enjoying the character development arc that they chose for a long-running series. The details for the procedural mysteries are also well-done at a level not to be found in the stupid dreck American TV series out there today.

To each their own.
