Bonefish, Do you think we should annex Canada and adopt their medical system? I'm not sure. A lot of the shit that people complain about right now with regard to privatized health insurance will not go away once universal health care is instituted. At the very least, I wouldn't mind forcing health insurance companies to be super-transparent in their claim denials. Don't let them deny anything without a full explanation along with clear references to published material. These explanations can then be subject to review by government oversight or other third party entities to make sure denials are fair and just. Because it's clear to me that the UNH status quo simply can't stand. Tenchusatsu
