One item of concern in the GLM picture is a very high percentage of turnkey drilling projects. While these can be enormously profitable if bid well and drilled without delays or complications, in an environment with rising labor and drilling supply costs, the risks of cost overruns are higher. RIG, for example, took a $12+ million write-off in 4Q97 related to turnkey operations.

Thank you for your posts and responses, I will hang on tight and hope that WallStreet catches up with reality... then we will catch up to our profits...

I invest mostly in tech, biotech, and GLM (which one of the three stands out?) and it seems that in all three cases Wall street has no clue of what is really going on. The problem is that they are the ones who will eventually decide whether we make money or continue lagging in these shallow pools of primordial boredom.

Let's hope some of these big boys catch up with reality sooner rather than later!!!
