Mohan:

Do they (CPQ & INTC) move in tandem ???

Since 1991 they do - very closely.

Mohan RE: CPQ/INTC. Thanx for the chart. When I made the comment I didn't realize how closely they were aligned. I've owned Intel since '92 and CPQ since '95 and never noticed how they moved in tandem.

In the future I believe that CPQ could move higher than Intel, since CPQ can grow their share much more than Intel (until after Merced hits). CPQ's purchase of Dec makes it harder to judge the future growth curve.

I noted that the PSR was 1.8 for CPQ compared to 6.3 for Intel, which is quite a spread IMHO.

With options over hopefully some of the Dell money will move back to CPQ and set off a gigantic short squeeze. (CPQ has 65 million shares short vs. 22 million a month ago.)
