Lithium ion battery recyclers are going broke waiting for product as the batteries last so long. I bought a used 2012 all electric Nissan Leaf in 2015 ,getting 144 k on a full charge, now getting 110 k and the battery will be 13 years old in a few months. The battery is only 24 kw. Weight not a problem, excellent in snow. Re hydrogen bike, it’s a bike ,range not an issue. Hydrogen a foolish proposition on all fronts except steel making , because of the difficult properties of hydrogen according to the richest man in the world who makes huge bets and never seems to lose. Spacex and note Tesla, long term ever higher with full self driving & robo taxi and adding daily super chargers around the world.
