How much scorn do you have now that he says he can't do jack shit about grocery prices.......did you know he invented the word GROCERY?

People Can't Believe Donald Trump's Response To Being Asked About His Plans To Lower Grocery Prices

On August 15, Trump held a press conference in New Jersey, where he had a table full of groceries beside him. "Grocery prices have skyrocketed; how can a family afford that? So, when I win, I will immediately bring prices down," Trump said.

On September 23, Trump visited a grocery store in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, and paid for multiple customers' groceries. "We'll do that for you from the White House, alright?" Trump said while waving to the crowd.

And here's Trump saying it loud and clear at a rally on November 4th, 2024, just days before the election:

Even after winning the 2024 election, Trump claimed groceries were the main reason he won. "I won on groceries. A very simple word, groceries," he said in a Meet The Press interview. "I started using the word. The groceries. When you buy apples, when you buy bacon, when you buy eggs, they would double and triple the price over a short period of time."

Now, Trump is going viral for seemingly backtracking on the grocery campaign promise.

In a recent Times Magazine interview, Trump claimed that failing to bring down prices should not mean his presidency was a failure.

In the interview, Trump was directly asked: "If the prices of groceries don't come down, will your presidency be a failure?" To which he responds, "I don't think so. Look, they got them up. I'd like to bring them down," Trump responded. "It's hard to bring things down once they're up. You know, it's very hard."

Here's Trump's full response:

SORRY S U C K E R S

Bannon: Why did Wray surrender and get the hell outta town? Why didn’t he stand in the breach? Why didn’t he provide air cover for y’all? Ask yourself that. The one guy you needed, ran.

He authorized search of my house even though he knew I had no evidence of any crime bcse he had covertly accessed all my electronic data prior to search warrant. After 18 months and $500,000, FBI and DoJ said "Never mind." Not one document evidence of crime.

Natalie Winters highlight picked up by RCP (transcript).
"War Room" co-host Natalie Winters runs a victory lap that the "conspiracy theories" the show talks about are "so good" that their subjects "require blanket preemptive pardons."

NATALIE WINTERS: We've gone from triggered snowflakes needing blankets in their safe spaces to actual blanket preemptive pardons.

It fits into what we've been talking about with January 6, with the Anthony Fauci testimony I just talked about. There's always this pattern. It starts with these limited hangouts where they say we're crazy for saying these people committed the crimes that they did indeed commit.

Yes, Liz Cheney perjured herself when she arranged legal representation illegally, she should face disbarment for what she did with Cassidy Hutchinson. And we were mocked and ridiculed, tarred and feathered, for saying the things we said on this show that now are being proven true.

Our conspiracy theories were so good that now they necessitate not just pardons, but blanket preemptive pardons. I don't know if there's any historic precedent there, if that's ever been done. But it shows you that we've been right all along.

It's absolutely mind-blowing, and of course, the media is going to provide them with cover for it, but I think with that Bennie Thompson interview, even though he's saying, "If Joe Biden were to give me one" -- with all the qualifiers in his language and blinking a thousand times per minute -- "I would maybe accept one."

These people are busy over at the White House, in the basement or wherever they're running this from, they're begging for these pardons. The most innocent people in the world need the most pardons. It really is a level of gaslighting that I don't think this country has seen. Benny Thompson is probably not even that high on our list, I know we can't say enemies list, but metaphorically. there are so many more people I would focus on. I think Bill Clinton's pardon would have to go back to the 1990s, if you're picking up what I'm putting down.

If they get them, I guess they can't plead the fifth, so at least Congress will have some good investigations.
