I am no expert on TA and probably never will be. I have tweaked a TA program I use to respond to a specific set of TA indicators and then the program back tests those indicators against the specific stock in question and throws out any indicator that has historically proven to be inaccurate. It then produces buy and sell signals based on both the daily and weekly signals proven to be most accurate with that specific stock. I never believed the program could produce such accurate results but it works very well. I use a set of divergence indicators and give more weight to the weekly indicators. They sometimes lag by a week or so, but are amazingly accurate. I am posting this on this thread due to the stock UTI.
