Thanks, Leo. I wonder which companies are selling to the automotive market. I was quite amazed to see that GM offers a GPS option on its 1998 models(at least the STS). This suggests that such options will be more widespread in the automotive sector as time goes by, don't you think? Logically, I can see why it would have taken off in other markets sooner--like boating. Of course, since I am usually quite geographically challenged, the appeal of an automotive system is quite strong. (I don't camp or boat!) <ggg> mph
