It has nothing to do with Russia. It is actually the West that can not be trusted for it is the West that weaponized the Swift system. No one can trust the Swift system now as they can be the next target. Just like go fund me was weaponized against those supporting the truckers. Go fund me can no longer be trusted along with the Canadian banks that froze accounts. Russia was smart enough to still honour it contracts to deliver oil to some countries that went against them so they would not lose credibility in the future. The West can not be trusted.
