Yahoo Finance Portfolio:
Click on My Portfolio

Click on Portfolio (the one you want to edit, I have 5 to chose from).

Scroll over the stock symbol and you'll see on the far right a trash button, click on this and it will delete from your portfolio.

Hope that helps. I'm still not used to this either.
