Doug:

TXCC? Hmm. Looked at it, but the chart seemed like: BUSTED by Oct. 27.
Here are some others I picked up using the Relative Strength #s in IBD as a pre-scan. Nowhere near as fruitful or as certain as I'd hoped.

Mid-channel types, worth keeping a watch on:

ALK (recent)
COO
ICIX
IGEN
OPMRF

IL types

AOL
ELNK (originally picked it (boast, boast) as an ACT over a week ago)
XCIT (also something of a greased-up channel swimmer)

ACT types

HCFP
MTEL (go back to later March/early April)
SCAI (I'm REALLY guessing on this one)
TWMC (I'm probably a date late and a dollar (actually a $1.50) short on this one; IMO, this one's got Doug R. written all over it, particularly if you go back to '96 with it.)

It's been so long since I last got to drawing these infernal lines, Doug, that I just gave up and now beg mercy on the following:
NBTY, STRX, and IDTC

Not much. Just blame it William O'Neill. What the hell does he know about ILs and ACTs anyway? Hope it's of some help to someone. After all this work, hoping to get an idea ready for Monday at 9:31, I'm exactly where I was before: Short AOL if it shows too much strength or weakness. At that price, it's hard to lose TOO much money.
At least I theeenk so, Quicksdraw.

Ivan

PS: If you run into Senor Esteban on the ol' Superhighway, tell him thanks Amylin for the headsup on AMLN. Couldawouldshoulda been an easy 20%.

A MEGA P.S.
EDIT

Doug,

PRTL, of course, is just better than ever. My most generous IL puts it at overpriced at $25.50. Now if I can just get my broker to go out and borrow a few shares for me ... then I can probably lose a few ducats on this one.

Ivan

PS: Does BRKT look MIMBO-ish to you? Look at the line thru the highs of 10/96, 9/97/ and 1/98. Where price just got past the line, volume is surging a bit.
