Olinghouse could allow ALTA to hop above $2, despite the POG staying at this depressed level (and possibly even dropping this week). But I think that we will have to be patient because the recent rally in the stock markets in Europe, US and the timid recovery in south east asia ... is not going to help gold in the short term.
But.... Russell 2000 is possibly in the process of placing a very bearish rounded top and so is the DOW. (Nasdaq is not because of the irrational exuberance of DELL investors!).
That bearish pattern is not placed yet, but if this occurs,... that could lead to a drop in many bourses and possibly will solidify the price of gold and make ALTA go higher.
Future will tell.
ALTA is a fantastic gold mine investment, IMHO. We might see POG go down to $280 again, but $ 1.25 for ALTA is VERY unlikely, in my book.
Good luck all.

Barbara I believe it was Anglo American Gold. While I am on here do
you know anything about the Dallas Gold & Silver exchange? Does it
trade as an index of some small American gold companies? Can't seem
to find anything about it.
