I just noticed this but you seem to not be differentiating between the candidates and the media.

" Everything you say in a campaign" means everything the campaign says, the candidates, the staff, and the proxies aka the campaigners. Whatever the media might say would not be "in a campaign" but would be "about the campaign." I said nothing about the media or any other parties.

No one cares at this point

You seem to care since you keep bringing it up. I didn't even know it was an issue for anyone until you brought it up and with such vehemence, to boot.

But it was a clear failure of the media to do the right thing, again. We do need to know if money changed hands to deliver that result or what other accommodations may have been made.

There you go again, bringing it up. It was just another outlier among myriad outliers. A poll outlier is not a threat. It's just clutter. Get a grip.
