An easy and simple mistake to make. The assumption being that human beings are nice people and wish do the right things. Generally that is a correct statement. However human existence does not live in isolation. The bible and other texts infers that there are lifeforms beyond the realm of everyday life, and some of those influences are not beneficial to human existence. Not just that, a lot of necessary jobs just would not get done, this is where the control freak Nazies step in and force people into servitude. And that is why communism does not work. "Godless Commie" is indeed a sad place to be. As I said before, anyone to has had to manage to group of human beings becomes aware of the shortcomings fairly quickly, and compromises have to be made.
