The body politic will have been harmed. Are their those you only wish good tiding and joy. All who care for or about your happiness will be harmed. Do you support others who will be robbed of you support. Do you wish that upon them or simply care not. So I would consider myself harmed. Does you death and the consequence increase the chances of your dna going extinct. Does that matter to you even if it applies does not invalidate the harm. mind wandering..... There is philosophical and practical. The only real thing we leave behind is our children and the family of out forbears when we die. That is my personal belief. All else is so what. Dose our DNA continue or become extinct. Sociologically I would say families of two parents who stay married and raise their children in a christian or Jewish faith have the best chances of long term DNA success. And giving woman the idea of their being all they can be greatly reduces their chances of long term DNA success. And men who chose those woman are also joining long term DNA likely to fail club. So those who chose self gratification over procreation are by there DNA and nurture genetic failures in a sense of self and also of maybe family. A society is as strong as it's weakest link. What is bad and what is good and what is harm or not? I have 16 year of Catholic education. As far as I know the life and teaching of Christ in the bible are in perfect sync of do as I do. Which is not to say there have been Catholic and Christian who have been evil and despicable and done terrible things. Every way you want to parse groups by whatever label they fall in a bell curve of individuals of smart and dumb good and bad. IS Christ the son of GOD.? if you believe that and raise you children to believe that you have a head start in the DNA longevity race. I believe the data shows. I assume this applies to other religions. And all can be used to bernie madoff folks.
