Yes, experts are Democrats too. In fact academia are mostly Democrats. Even Republicans know that if you send a conservative kid to college chances are they will become liberal. And the reason is because academia teaches people facts and logic. That is what education is about!! And the result/reason, the kids become liberal is because of a thing called: "Knowledge Directed Perception" . Science says:" you cannot see what you do not understand." So the more you learn the more you will see e.g. how wrong conservative theories are. And that so much of academia is liberals, is because academia is a boiling cauldren of knowledge, and introspection, and academic investigation, and verification, and the more one learns, the more one SEES!! For example, seeing that the Republican's theories and ideology are wrong---so how can an informed person be a Republican?? Professors -- who never dealt with the problems of government -- are uniformly blue. Why? Because they are dealing with the difficulty of running a business, having to deal with the federal bureaucracy, watching their money taken to give to other people who don't work nearly as hard, either. Essentially, the BLUE "professors" were hired to do a job and the only thing they seek is a moderate paycheck and tenure. It is a pathetic thing that these people end up being teachers -- people who don't even know what they're teaching about. OTOH, among physicians, the smartest tend to cluster among high-paying specialties. Which is probably the reason they are high-paying. I've known an inordinate number of physicians in that category. They do their jobs, manage their money, and vote Republican. For the most part. Because they understand that hard work only pays off if government gets out of the way, and these people do not want government getting in the way of their hard work and excellent work product.
