I was answering a non God philosophical question. Man's kingdom at a specific time and not considering what might happen in the future. For a Catholic it was a favor or no so much a favor or eternal damnation of which there is no deeper harm. When I was taught Catholic doctrine the knowledge of DNA did not exist. A person is DNA and nurture. That is the sum of the parts of the whole. But to the extent one goes forth and multiplies one is doing the will of GOD. And the more the more Godly. The only more blessed act is to choose DNA extinction in total service to the Lord. That is the literal following of the example of Christ.
