Ike,

I had to take a minute after re-reading to let my brain calm down!! Wonderful, creative words/trades ... thanks for sharing. I have passed the info onto my father and will recommend what he and I have been discussing:
On break of x (1018) in the SPX, buy SPX puts for protection with a stop at y (1025-6 break). When reaching lower supports and a profit exists, place a stop at z (TBD later) to lock in profits if SPX breaks upward through prior resistance. Hedge with a view ... to profits!!!

I will also recommend your brilliant thought on the SOX ... I must admit that I have also had this thought of divergence between the SOX and the DOW/SPX. I am glad to know that you confirm that its 'more than a feeling'.

I know my brain will recover from this excercise and I look forward to any more discussion on these matters as you closed :
<< I can give you many other exotic trades-- for
your eyes only....by the way it is natural hedge also--more later. >>
I love analyzing and understanding the Exotic ... you should know this about me by now IKE!! . Just keep me away from the foreign market trades and my brain will be fine ... I think!

I saw Chuck's note on providing more TA. I will try to relate some things I see in charts in the future ... two-fold ... I will look for response from thread to see others thoughts on the specific positions, and I will look to force myself to look deeper at things to share it well.
