RE: BCE Inc (BCE)

Will put BCE on my watch list. I have recently added to my VZ and my last transaction for T was a sell of some High Cost Shares.
BCE Inc. is a communications service provider and is the holding company for Bell Canada. The company provides local and long-distance phone services. Bell Canada operates the company's wireline and wireless businesses, Bell Media as well as the satellite TV operation, known as ExpressVu. The company provides wireless service, data communications, telephone, high-speed Internet, direct-to-home satellite television and Voice over Internet Protocol services. Bell Canada also offers integrated information and communications technology services to businesses and governments and is the virtual chief information officer to small and medium businesses.
At 10.6x Forward PE; selling at 1.97x BV, Debt/Equity 1.81x a bit high; EV/EBITA 6.68x. Valuations appear compelling.

Dividend is yielding 12.88% but they do not cover their dividend as their payout ratio is well above 100%

This partnership looks positive:

  1. Partnerships with Satellite Providers: BCE has engaged in initiatives that involve low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites. For instance, it has partnered with Northwestel, which aims to use Telesat's LEO satellites to deliver high-speed internet services to remote communities in Canada, specifically targeting areas in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut

. This partnership focuses on providing broadband speeds of 50/10 Mbps to underserved regions.

I'd say that BCE is currently too expensive.

$678.1/912.3/5.4% = $13.70/share. Its current price is $22.88/share which is ~66% higher.

In addition its Net Inc./Turnover is 200/18088 = ~1.1% which is a really THIN Margin. It won't take much of a Negative Number within its Income Statement for BCE to show a Loss.

Not surprising, I guess, that its price chart looks like this --->
