That's not exactly what I suggested.
I'm saying do away with the clutter and just plot a simple grid: time fibs on the horizontal axis and price fibs on the vertical.
Then study what happens to the price *if* it passes through a grid point.

For this to work, your gird needs to be anchored periodically to the turning points that make sense. This is not about some indefinite projection into infinity. It's about catching the ripples of a significant event.
