Per--
I am glad to see a European weigh in here. I don't think that most Americans understand how much fuel costs over there, and what even a 20% savings would mean to the average person.

The BAAT thread is a major battleground for proponents and nay-sayers of BAAT's Dolphin engine technology. To try to make your mind up from what you read here would be a difficult task, at best.

I am in the camp that agrees with what you say--what BAAT has is worth billions, and will change the automotive world. It may take a while before the world realizes that, but that's fine...I don't have the shares I would like to, yet.

Best of luck!
Rick

I would like very much to read the dyno charts for this engine,
especially the specific fuel consumption in pounds per hour.
I would want to compare it to a baseline run on an unmodified
engine of the same part number. Mr. Holland even gave the
part number of the engine to me. How's that for candor? I looked
for specific fuel consumption figures on the internet, but I didn't
find any. There are quite a few Yanmar dealers that have websites.
I found two versions of the engine. One produced 30 horsepower at
3000 rpm, and the other produced 37.5 horsepower at 3000 rpm.
But there weren't any SFC numbers.

When you say $4.15 per gallon are you referring to the cost of Diesel fuel in Sweden? If not, what country? If you are referring to Sweden, then what factors contribute to this high price. Please don't tell me it's a state plot to sweep the next winter Olympics in skiing and skating.

It is my understanding the cost of a gallon of Diesel in the Czech Republic is about $2.20.

Assuming you are from Sweden, what have you heard or what are they saying about BAT International in Sweden?

Before the debate on BAT got started, folks on Yahoo kept referring to Joe's propensity to talk about Volvo. Are you aware of any interest Volvo may have in BAT.
