I guess it's my age, getting up there but I think 2024 was just an awful year for the most athletes of my youth passing away. Willie Mays, Jerry West, Bill Walton, Pete Rose, OJ, Ricky Henderson, Dikembe Mutombo, Carl Weathers, Bobby Allison, Norm Snead, Roman Gabriel, Bud Harrelson, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Peter Oosterhuis, Fernando Valenzuela, Pat Fischer, Luis Tiant, Mercury Morris, Orlando Cepeda.
