From the prestigious Motor and Wheels!!!

HILARIOUS!!!

Quotes:

Other vehicles have been reported to burst into flames while parked. Investigations from the company found that a module at the front side of the battery caused the fires.

When a battery is overheated, it’s likely to burst into flames. Also, a short circuit could trigger a fire. Though rare, Tesla cars can overheat.

Running a Tesla car requires a lot of power from the batteries. As the batteries provide such power, they are likely to overheat, thus causing flames.

Although Tesla has been under scrutiny over the years concerning fires, the number of such cases has recently reduced.

The company is working to improve its technology to minimize the chances of Teslas catching fire in the future.

Tesla is not immune from accidents and fire. Owners should not be too confident in their vehicles and should always be prepared to face such events.

Report from a witness:

“We saw that smoke started showing from the vehicle, and then a large explosion from the truck occurs,”

That describes a Lithium Ion battery failure, not a bomb detonation.

Lithium Ion batteries smoke when they overheat, then they explode.

Bombs just explode.
