Well, If I had to pick one positive it would have to be the CEO.

Pete has been running this company since 1981, he unfailingly behaves and thinks like an owner of the company. CheckFree has beaten earnings estimates the last six quarters in a row.

See reply 1618. We are on the cusp of a whole new way of viewing
commerce. Checkfree has an 80 percent market share and things look
quite positive. However, many on this thread are afraid of a too rosy scenario.

After all, it's the unexpected things that sneak up to undo the best
of plans. Thus, every rock is "turned over" to look for the
unexpected. CKFR management because of competitive considerations and
propriety relationships with billers and banks is limited in the
information that they can release. Thus, the guesswork on the part
of thread participants.

Welcome, Mr. Bill.

I'm in CKFR at 25 3/4.

We all are waiting for the proverbial
bird in the hand announcements . . ..

Last week was "acknowledge the pittfalls and dangers that may befall CKFR." Rightly so. The stock took a hit, and w/o panic we rationally and objectivly discussed most potential down sides to the business. What I propose is that this be "positive week". Let it be reflected in our posts, news(ie:BARS), and stock price. Hopefully this week is the begining of the end for G.C.s creditability.
So is it gonna' be 'rock-n-roll' or a slow waltz? I hope I don't get shut down early.A.W.
