I upgraded my original iPod Classic 7th generation to a 256GB flash drive about 10 years ago. I had it done by a tech company near Denver, and they did an excellent job. I've had no regrets since then. Recently, I learned that you can add Bluetooth, a new connector, and most importantly, a new battery—all reasonable upgrade options. I considered all of them.

In the end, I decided to buy an iPhone SE with 256GB of memory and loaded all my music onto my phone. Again, no regrets. Moving forward, I think I will finally leave the Apple media environment and get a high-quality music player, like the one I mentioned earlier.
