<Kurlak is correct this time - Intel is not a growing company.
Intel already predicted its gross margin estimates for 1998 are 55% (down from 60%) and over long term, margins will be about 50% (down from 60%). >

This doesn't mean that they aren't growing. Revenues will increase and even though the margins may fall back, overall earnings will likely grow also. It's not just a margins thing.

jAMESu. iNTEL NOT GROWING not important, stock is going up here are the people missing the ride. Merril's Kurlack, Morgans Biggs, Fidleity, Brandywine. Egads! When Intel hit a new high all these guys will have to acquess. Add to the droves of shorts that made Intel the no two largest sort position on the NASDA. Investors want large cap hi tech's with stable earnings for there IRA's roth's 401K's Sep's. Money is flooding in to index funds. Asian investments are being redirected into the nasda dalrings. NASDA hits a new high tommorrow if not sometime next week. good tading and as always my compliments to your brother.
