That is a myth perpetrated by people who don't want to face the truth, or don't know. I have heard that all my life from people who do not understand politics. The difference in the two parties is night and day. The Democrats pass laws for the people like the New Deal, social Security, unemplyment, Medicare and Obamacare, AND the Republicans cut them so they can cut taxes for the rich! Clinton had us on the road to NO debt in just 12 years. Bush got in and said:" I don't think the government should have so much money, and I am cutting taxes on the rich! He told us that! It has NOT been the Democrats cutting taxes on the rich!! That is a fact! When we spend more than we bring in, we get a deficit. On top of that the REPUBLICANS refuse to fund the IRS so they have enough to keep the rich from avoiding paying taxes because billionaires have too many lawyers. Those are the facts. < If you haven't figured it out yet, after being told 100x, when it comes to money, both party's are the same..
