COVID deployed by US military? Prove it. You won’t be able to. The Wuhan Virology lab was working on corona viruses at an inadequate BSL 2 level of safety. A minimum of BSL 3 was required. This was known. Here’s the history of the lab, beginning in 2017. It was a startup. The Chinese were inexperienced. The usual and expected followed. In 2018, the State Department rang the bell on this tofu dregs lab but was ignored. The State Department officials who visited the lab even specifically warned that the lab’s work on bat coronaviruses represented a risk of a SARS-like pandemic. As my 8 year old niece would say: “well, duh!” scholar.harvard.edu bendbulletin.com The Chinese to no one’s surprise have been less than forthcoming. 2017-2021.state.gov The only question I have is whether the virus was part of a bioweapon program or was genuine scientific research. That there is a military-civilian fusion as respects Chinese bioweapon research is well-known, so it could have been both. This is a complicated issue. I cannot imagine the Chinese deploying a bioweapon on their own people. But I definitely can see the engineered virus accidentally escaping from a brand new, badly run, known-to-be-dangerous geewhizbang lab. I am convinced that is exactly what happened. I want reparations for China’s criminal negligence.
