Speaker Bio

Dr. Huiqing Pang, received her BE in Dept. of Electrical Engineering, MS in Institute of Microelectronics from Tsinghua University, and PhD degree in Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then worked as a scientist in Universal Display Corporation, deeply involved in various research projects from large-area OLED lighting to flexible displays. After 4 years in UDC, she worked as Director of Device Research and Engineering in Next Biometrics Inc, where she helped to commercialize the products and led the team to develop the first flexible fingerprint sensor. Since 2017, Dr. Pang is the Vice President of Beijing Summer Sprout Technology Co., Ltd, in charge of Device R&D team. Dr. Pang has over 40 granted patents in OLED related field. She is also a member of Technical Committee of SID Beijing Chapter.

Thanks for sharing that background. UDC folks seem to pop up in places like this & Cynora & Kyulux & others, and then nothing in a material manner happens in the supply chain. Bankruptcy & / or takeovers, either at tiny values are more likely. Here funding $$ is tiny at this point so it's hard to imagine this will be an imminent threat. OTOH if Summer Sprout gets many millions or billions from the state then it will be interesting.
