It is because the Republicans will not tax enough to meet social expenses! Nor will they cut programs. All the do is borrow money to give to the rich. Why is that so hard to understand? if Trump had used the 8 trillion in tax cuts he gave to the rich to address the problems you mention, they wouldn't exist. Trump and the Republican congress could have balanced the budget, but instead gave huge tax cuts to the rich. And he just said he wants to do it again first thing! < What about the fact that today many Americans are going without food, shelter, or access to medical services? Yet the deficit is growing faster then ever, and trillions is being sent overseas in defense spending, and all sorts of quangos? TODAY. Nothing to do with Trump.
