The question is, if expenditures were too high, why didn't the Republicans and Trump cut them?

That is their main job. They controlled the house, and so the money.

It is real simple, you cuts programs, or you raise taxes!

But what you SHOULD never do is borrow money when looking at a deficit to cut taxes on the rich!

And If they had the votes to cut taxes, they had the votes to cut programs, so why didn't they?

Our debt is simply the result of Bush and Trump borrowing money to fund the government, rather than raise taxes or cut programs.

The cutting of taxes reduced revenue, and caused the deficits. That simple.

I can show you a graph that shows the debt was declining under Clinton, and the year Bush got in and cut taxes the debt rose!

The expenditures are too high. Name three programs Democrats have cut or have proposed to cut.
